He was born in Catanzaro in October the 1th, 1983. He took his degree in Management Engineering, summa cum Laude, in September 2007 from the University of Calabria.

He is currently PhD student at the Mechanical Department of University of Calabria.

His research activities concern the integration of ergonomic standards, work measurement techniques, artificial intelligence techniques and Modeling & Simulation tools for the effective workplace design.

He collaborates with the Industrial Engineering Section of the University of Calabria to research projects for supporting innovation technology in SMEs.

He belongs to the International Program Committee (IPC) of several conferences such as the 20th European Modeling & Simulation Symposium (EMSS08), the 11th International Workshop on Harbor Maritime Multimodal Logistics Modeling & Simulation (HMS08), the 7th International Workshop on Modeling & Applied Simulation (MAS08) and the European Conference on Modeling & Simulation (ECMS08). He was Track Chair of the Inventory Management Simulation session at MAS08. He works as reviewer for the most important conferences on Modeling & Simulation such as the EMSS08, HMS08, HMS08 and ECMS08.

In the context of University he is tutor on the course “Production Systems Design” for students of the 2nd year in Management Engineering.
