I3M 2022 will be held in the Congress Center (in Italian: Aula Convegni) of the Engineering Area of the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Viale Degli Ingegneri). University of Rome Tor Vergata was established in 1982 and is therefore a relatively young University. It was designed on the model of Anglo-Saxon campuses: it stretches on 600 hectares and hosts important research institutions, such as National Research Council – CNR and the Italian Space Agency – ASI.
The University of Rome Tor Vergata is structured in 6 Schools (Economics; Law; Engineering; Humanities and Philosophy; Medicine and Surgery; Mathematics, Physics and Natural Sciences) which are organised in 18 Departments. Tor Vergata is keen to sharpen its worldwide profile and offers 19 courses taught in English (6 double/joint degree programmes). Moreover, Tor Vergata teaching encompasses 150 post lauream courses (advanced training courses, 1st and 2nd Level Vocational Master) and 50 Specialisation Schools.

I3M 2022 Ice Breaker
The I3M 2022 Ice Breaker is a special aperitif that the I3M Organization Committee has organized to celebrate together the return, after 2 years, of the physical conference. The I3M 2022 Ice Breaker will be held in the Acquaroof Terrazza Molinari, via del Vantaggio 14, Roma.
To reach the Acquaroof Terrazza Molinari you can catch a taxi or you can use public transportation.
Reaching Acquaroof Terrazza Molinari by public transportation:
- Underground (METRO), Line A, stop at Flaminio Station.
- Walk for approximatively 450 m, through Piazza del Popolo and then through Via di Ripetta and reach the Acquaroof Terrazza Molinari. Alternatively you can walk approximately 600m through Via Principessa Clotilde.
I3M 2022 Gala Dinner
The I3M 2022 Gala Dinner will be held on Tuesday, September 20 th , 2022 at Les Étoiles Restaurant (6th floor), Via dei Bastioni, 1, Roma. Formal dressing is required.
To reach the Les Étoiles Restaurant you can catch a taxi or you can use public transportation.
Reaching Les Étoiles Restaurant by public transportation:
- Underground, Line A and stop at Ottaviano Station
- Walk for approximatively 750 m, through Via Silla and reach the Les Étoiles Restaurant. Alternatively you can walk approximately 800m through Via Ottaviano and Via Borgo .
