Vittorio Solina is currently Research Fellow at the Department of Mechanical, Energy and Management Engineering (DIMEG) of the University of Calabria. He supports the research and development activities of the MSC-LES laboratory.
He received his Master’s Degree in Management Engineering Summa cum Laude in 2016 from the University of Calabria, acquiring skills in the management of industrial plants and optimization of business processes.
Currently, he is awaiting the title of PhD in Civil and Industrial Engineering from the University of Calabria, with a PhD thesis on the optimization and integrated management of agri-food supply chains.
His main research interests concern the management of supply chains through optimization and simulation tools, industrial engineering, food traceability.
He has participated as speaker in more than 10 scientific international conferences.
He has published more than 10 scientific articles in journals and conference proceedings of international relevance.
Since 2017 he has been qualified for the Profession of Engineer (Section A).
Since 2019 he has been Contract Professor at the Department of Mechanical, Energy and Management Engineering of the University of Calabria.
Since 2020 he has been Track Chair and Member of the Program Committee for the International Conference on Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing (ISM).
Since 2021 he has been carrying out research and development activities about Industry 4.0 at Cal-Tek S.r.l.
