Lucia Gazzaneo studied Engineering Management at the University of Calabria, where she graduated summa cum laude in 2017. She is taking course for a Doctorate in Industrial Engineering at DIMEG, University of Calabria. In particular, she carries out research activities investigating how to support Smart Operators’ capabilities and knowledge management in Smart Manufacturing Systems, leveraging the integration of Industry 4.0 KETs (Key Enabling Technologies), such as Digital Twin, Modelling & Simulation, Augmented Reality, and Artificial Intelligence. She is the author of several scientific publications in International Journals and conferences.
She started her experience at MSC-LES lab in 2018, supporting research project activities in Industrial and Logistics systems, including the conceptualization of simulation models, simulation models development, input/output data analysis, VV&A techniques as well as production of technical reports, deliverables and other documentation. She is a member of the Local Organizing Committee of the I3M multiconference (International Multidisciplinary Modeling & Simulation Multiconference), supporting the planning and execution of the conference, taking care of the general “running around” and problem solving at the time of the conference.
Amongst her interests there is also wargaming. She loves music, travelling and food.
