THE- I-SKIIL

The Human Element-- Investment-- Solutions Key to  Interactive Innovative

Leadership.

Priscilla Elfrey and Rick Severinghaus, co-chairs of the Grand Challenge ICCRE track announce a change of name and direction to M&S Grand challenge:

THE- I-SKIIL

The Human Element-- Investment-- Solutions Key to  Interactive Innovative

Leadership.

The purpose of this workshop will be to present experiments and solutions addressing how M&S can help us better demonstrate leadership in complex, sometimes chaotic,  sometimes multi-decadal challenges.  In previous ICCRE (Ottawa & The Hague), we  explored natural and human-caused disasters as well as complex problems relating to the use and acceptance of M&S.

THE-I-SKILL will present the story of the human investment to solve such issues. This includes, but will not be limited to, the National M&S Coalition (NTSA), M&S for Global Cyber Security (GICSR). A new Health Care M^S Center. The workshop will demonstrate the SISOSmackDown, spinoffs and discuss the related long-term workforce development program with the American Indian Higher Education Consortium.

THE-I-SKILL solicits examples ( research, experiences and demonstrations of M&S supporting leadership investment in addressing complex, often intractable and difficult situations.

THE-I-SKIIL recognizes that the Human Element is a Grand Challenge in the optimal use of M&S.

Bring us your ideas, show us how M&S can make a difference. If you have questions, please contact us.

Submission Procedures: Please follow the submission instructions reported in the Submission Procedure Section in the GCMS Homepage. Submit your paper to the SCS Conference Proceedings Management System. For questions and more information, please contact Priscilla Elfrey
